n2 head with an n3 brain but no new xm or ipod interface

n2 upgraded to a n3 brain, i thought i would get the new interface with xm and ipod having more functionality.
I reset the unit through the secret menu but still no new interface. what am i doing wrong. the unit xm and ipod are all functioning just not with the better interface. the nav cd is cndv-90mt. help

All I needed to do was a reset and everything works as expected.
I'm running the CD-IB100II FWIW
