VSS and Reverse wire for a 2004 Ford F150 Supercrew?

So do I need to run a jumper from the head unit to the kick panel to get to the reverse wire?
Do I connect the emerg brake wire as well?

i'll be interested to know this as well because because when you buy the camera, the box needs that reverse signal as well, BUT the d3 also needs the reverse signal. so i guess i run a jumper wire from the kick panel and tap it into both of those wires!
