  4. Huh? I don't work for Pioneer nor is this site connected with them in any way.

    iOS 6 maps

Not yet, but in the mean time you could jailbreak it and mirror it, assuming it's not an iPhone 5.
  6. Just posted by Pioneer: "Calling all app developers! Are you up for the challenge? Do you think you have what it takes to work non-stop to create the next big app to work with Pioneer's AppRadio, the revolutionary in-dash car stereo that controls compatible apps directly from its touchscreen? If so, we'll see you in Vegas!" http://youtu.be/nlOPK8NQ-GQ Find out more and register for free at http://www.pioneerhackathon.com.

  8. The 2012 update is for the 110-130. Also, I have no major issues with the lightning adapter. Once and a while I have to unplug it and plug it back in, but that's all.
  9. The iPod connection on the AVIC's use analog audio, not USB.
  10. It's working as intended; brighter when the headlights are off, dimmer when they're on. You can adjust the brightness for each "mode".
  11. After personally testing, I can confirm that the adapter works for everything except video output/enhanced app mode.
  12. Not directly; the Apple TV outputs HDMI and/or Component. You could however use a converter, I've seen it done.

    iPhone 5 support?

Since I happen to have an iPhone 5, I can confirm that WITHOUT the 30 pin adapter, Bluetooth is the only option. If you try using the included Lightning to USB cable, you'll get an iPod Authorization error. Since the adapter doesn't ship until next month, it's unclear as to what features will be supported.
  14. Based on some developer info on the OEM Apple Adapter.
  15. Music will work with the 30 pin adapter or via bluetooth/3.5mm, yes.
  16. Banned that guy and his IP (again) and got rid of some posts that were referring to his deleted posts.
  17. After testing the iPhone 5 with the 30 pin adapter and the current cable from pioneer: Supports audio iPod output with ID3 data and album art Supports audio out apps (like Pandora) Supports controls (track change, thumb up, thumb down, next, etc) Will NOT support video iPod, video app, or Enhanced App Radio functions. Without the 30 pin adapter, (using the included USB cable) all you can do is charge the phone on the X/F/Z Series. It appears that the newer AVH Series units support direct USB connection. Pioneer Compatibility Chart (PDF)
  18. Basic iPod audio functionality will work with the adaptor. Audio/data only apps like Pandora should work as well. However, Video/App Mode apps will NOT display video.

  20. Some of the Passports have iPhone/Android App support which could be mirrored to the AVIC/AppRadio. However, I don't think the 9500ci supports that. https://www.escortradar.com/escort-live/
  21. The AVIC isn't case sensitive. I don't understand the issue.
