I have an x9310bt running the 5.1 firmware, along with the parking brake bypass. Just installed a rearview camera, but am unable to "aim" the parking assist lines. When I attempt to do so, I get the message stating that this function can't be performed while vehicle is in motion. It makes sense that the unit would think I am in motion if it can't sense the parking brake being engaged, but at the same time isn't that what the brake bypass hack is supposed to do (tell the unit that the brake is engaged when it isn't)?
I can live without the lines, but at the same time want to know why I can'
