So does that mean I am SOL if I have a new ipod classic...That just seems so wrong...This was one of the only reason I bought an ipod.

I got burned by the whole no video output thing also in my D3 in my haste to have the news stuff. I called apple direct and they said they will have a cable ready in a few weeks but I have a feeling that the guy was talking about something different. Has anyone contacted Pioneer at all to see if they know about the probelm and are working on anything. I am trying to make a decision on whether to wait for a new cable that will work the same as the old one or to try and with a 5th generation ipod before they all disappear.

New poster, first question...be nice!! Just got a new D3 installed in my car and added XM with the XMD1000. In using it I am very disappointed with the display features of the XM. Is there a setting to change what can be displayed?? I can only get one line of text at a time on the screen. Also for my XM presets it continues to say "preset 1" after I set it as opposed to the channel number or name. Do I need an upgrade somewhere?? I thought that all this would be available? Thanks for any input in advance.
