  1. It pauses when you get/make a call
  2. Pretty sure this'll be blocked from work on Monday.
  3. Found the problem. Everything I read said the reverse light wire was under the passinger side kick panel, black and pink. Found a black and pink wire there and tapped into it...WRONG! I popped the tail light out, found the wire (black and pink, sure enough), followed it down and to the driver side and into the cab. Identical wire, just on driver side, tapped into it and life is good.
  4. Wrathernaut - I went ahead and corrected my late night error, thank you for setting me straight. I tested all my grounds and power supplies before installing (hard lesson learned years ago) but I'm not sure I have the right reverse wire. My truck is a Lincoln Mark LT which is basically a F150 but I did come across a couple differences doing my install and their is little info on that truck. Is their an option other than the wiring harness to connect this wire (such as connecting directly to a reverse light wire)?
  5. I just installed my X910BT (wired bypass) and everything is great...except the back up cam. It does not turn on automatically when i put it in reverse, though I can manually turn it on. If I change the setting to ground in the setting control panel, the unit starts in the cam mode and won't shut off unless I reset the unit.
  6. wow, tossing insults for a pretty simple question (that no one has answered yet)
  7. Has anyone tried the hardware bypass yet? Mine is coming in tomorrow and I'm installing on Friday.
  8. This is great, I just ordered my X90 and was wondering if I'd be able to listen to Pandora like I could with my old Alpine.
  9. I had the same question but called Crutchfield and they said the only reason their site says that is because they haven't tested it but he said it will fit just fine. ORDERED
  10. I had the same problem and it was actually an easy fix. My Z1's BT was located just below my cup holder in my Avalanche, which is were my iPhone ended up (in the cup holder). Once it started making that horrible noise I couldn't get it to stop until I transfered the call back the the headset. Once I moved the BT unit away from the phone, no more noise. I just got a BlackBird II from Santa and I set up the BT on that and it automatically saw all my contacts, recent calls and missed calls. Too bad the speaker is so weak that you can't use it if you're actually driving.
  11. No, I have a second touch screen for the Mini.
  12. I am interested in a universal tv tuner as well, anyone have an answer for #2?
  13. I had Kar Tunes in Sterling install mine. They are fast and do nice work plus they don't care if you bring your own equipment. They are also a Pioneer dealer so they know their stuff. Ask for Dan when you call 703-406-0825
  14. You should check out http://www.mbenznl.com/index.php for COMAND and other MB stuff. I bought a Euro version of the COMAND for my wifes C class from them and they were great to deal with.
  15. I agree with jgx about the mini but would really like to see someone setup a iTV as a carputer. Rumor has it the Mini is about to be discontinued and no rumors of a replacement so the iTV might be our next best bet. If you want more info about both of these projects you should check out www.mp3car.comand go to the mac forum.
