  1. From my experience, the Sub's have their radio and climate controls integrated into one circuit board, I would look at Crutchfield as well. it will tell you if there is a dash kit for it, the kit will not be cheap if the climate controls and radio are all one piece - good luck
  2. I am having the same issue of the call dropping when shutting off the car. A little off topic, but I am also having issues with the VR - very picky on what I tell it, I have to repeat everytime and 90% of the time, it has no idea what I am saying, 2.0 worked 95% of the time with out repeating it, and 100% of the time if I did repeat the command. I wonder if it has to do with using the X series 3.0, have to wonder if they changed the hardware interface on the unit...
  3. I did this install and now my VR is very inaccurate, any ideas?
  4. I have VR with the 3.0 upgrade as well, however, the VR is extreamly unreliable, it may get the correct voice command once out of like every 20 trys. Any one know what the issue may be?
  5. F90BT going strong and faster than ever! Thanks soo much for these instructions. One thing I noticed when updating my WinCE files - when entering the service mode, on the blue screen it said "press the reset button" Don't, just do the password at this point and it will get you into the service mode. Thanks again!
  6. best bet if no one else knows is to go to the dealer, and ask one of them to bring up the harness diagram, it should say what each wire is. However, I have a question for you, did someone come out with a single din dash kit for the impreza?
  7. The one that comes with it is ok, people are saying that they are having issues with that cable and they are going with the Apple one. I personaly have had no issues with the OEM cable. I would say keep the one you got and wait till you have issues because the Apple cable is something like $50.
  8. Also, when you go to the shop, if you find that they did something with the wires, ask them why the hell they did anything inside your car unless you did a body lift, I have done 3 lifts on Jeeps and never had to touch any wiring except for the ABS in a Grand... Good luck!
  9. A couple sheets of tin foil layered should do the trick
  10. - Does the music start as soon as you start your car? Or does it have to wait for the unit to boot up? -It starts shortly after the car is turned on, a little delay, not too bad. - Does the iPod automatically turn on and off with the F90BT, or will I have to manually turn it on/off? -The iPod does turn on automatically, however the iPod does have to "time out" when the car is turned off, kind of like unplugging the head phones. - Let's say I just leave my iPod in the car all the time. Does the F90BT charge it, or will I have to bring it inside periodically?
  11. I have called the tech support multiple times. It seems too many poeple have been calling them, all I have been getting is a busy signal everytime I call, they must have turned the phones off
  12. glad to see I am not the only one and Boris, I like you tag line about Chicago!
  13. Anyone else having issues with the GPS time not auto updating for daylight savings???
  14. I have not heard of the unit rebooting while transferring contacts. The system is throwing an error somewhere causing it to reboot. I am assuming that you have upgraded to the 2.0 version, if you did, did you update the bluetooth stack at the same time? If you have done any hacks, may want to put your backup flash disk back on your unit and see if that fixes it, then start adding all the mods again, there has to be a missing/corrupt file somewhere.
