  1. this is what im also thinking..
  2. my post in general; Does anyone know the softwareupdate policy of pioneer? Is it likely there will be an update to the z150, now that they have released the NEX units? We are now at 1.06 and there are still bugs to sort out. Are we obsolete and abandoned, or will pioneer give us an update or even new features in the future? Anyone? Will a mapupdate change anything on the unit in general? And for example, using the GPS in my car, the arrow is so late that i more than once missed the road im supposed to drive, will a mapupdate give me a more accurate position while driving?

  4. to follow up this... I have replaced the canbus to a newer model and now i have the revers sensors + the ventilation system on the display. However, i ALSO got able to control the day/night mapview, with the system settings Automatic/Daytime. On the downside it seems that the SWC got crippled, now its very slow and many keys dont work. Looking into that now..

    Appincar..?

Does anyone know what the app appincar does that the appradio app doesnt do? I cant find any good explanation anywhere, and incidently the appincar doesnt work on (my) z150bh
  7. I have 1.06 installed aswell, and cant find any settings to change the ringtone from the generic sound. Im pretty sure i remember right that on 1.05 i had the ringtone from the iphone on the speakers. Bug or feature?
  8. Following up comment.. Small, but annoying bug after the update: after starting the car, the radio starts paying from ipod (if connected) but after ten seconds or so, it will pause itself and i must then manually click play again. Small things...!
  9. I think you can click on appradio from the 2d or 3d view settings when you are in the map screen, if i understand you right. I agree 100% that appradio should work on the rear monitors. Thats one big design flaw on the unit.
  10. I will answer this myself. Nothing is broken on my HU, but none of the bugs mentioned above are fixed. The actual updating went without a hitch.
  11. Theres a small update to the avic 1.06 on the pioneer website, http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/111/AVIC-F50BT/media.html. Im quite new to pioneer so who knows if pioneer updates usually break or fix things? Something thats annoying on my unit is when i click the phone symol on the screen i get to the map ( after the warning nagscreen), and i cant use the night map while headlights are on ... Other than that my unit is stable. According to the website this update only address: Ver 1.06 ô°€ No audible warning for incoming call when Beep Vol is OFF ô°€ iOS7 Compatibility with 201
  12. Hi, i have installed avic z150bh in my 3008 (2009), you dont really need the indash display, however you will loose the visual reverse sensor in the display, but the sound still ring. I carefully set up the way i wanted the vehicel prefs before removing the original radio. You can reset the tripcomputer via the controls on the stearingwheel, and you also loose the USB connection in the centerconsole, its replaced with the one connected in the back of the pioneer. The built in wireless bluetooth mic will also not work anymore. And i lost the steeringwheel radio control, though that worked on m
  13. hi, johnk, thanks for the answer. im not sure i want to try messing around with the wires myself, i was hopeing it could be solved more easily. i already tried to unwire the orange/white and then only use the automatic/daytime menu to swich day/night map, but that didnt work also. I also have problems to get the SWC to work, i dont know why because this worked fine with the clarion nx502 i had previously installed. Im searching this forum and i cant find any info, but since lots of people are hacking the unit, wouldnt it be possible to find a way to choose day/night manually? or at le
  14. Hi, im new here in the forum and a new owner of the z150bh, or f50bt as its called here in europe. I have read the forum over and over and i see there are issues with the day/night mode in the maps, but i cant find a similar thread to my problem. I can only get nightmode in the maps by shutting off the lights completly. The HU is installed proffesionaly but this cant be right. In my country we always drive with lights on, day and night. If i switch on the carlights automaticly or manually, the AVIC have the daylight map on regardless if the menu is selected to automaticly. The on
