  1. I have my D3 installed in my 2007 Chevy Silverado NBS Crew Cab. Recently found out that the install was not done correctly. The installer had my JL Stealthbox wired in a way so that I had no sub control when I went into sounds and tried to tweak the sub. A friend who is an installer at another shop fixed this for me. This got me to thinking about the Gmos Lan 02. Since the install when I push the blue Onstar button it no longer says onstar ready and the volume is not as loud as it was with the factory deck. It works just not seamlessly. Could they have hooked something up incorrectly with th
  2. They finally agreed to do it. They made it seem like it was a big deal and advised it was a lot harder than just moving the mute wire and grounding it with the parking brake. it works though whatever they did.
  3. My buddy got his D3 in the mail today from Compuplus. He took it to the install shop where we have gotten plenty of work done before. He was told by the shop that they could not bypass a D3 without running the risk of frying the unit. I have read a hundred post on this site relating to bypassing the D3 and I told him none of the posts I read indicated anything about frying the unit because its bypassed. 5. I saw this post this weekend and remembered it when my buddy told me about it this morning. I immeadiately tried to advise him that it was probably a scam when he pulled it up by Googling cheap Avic D3. I am certain it is a scam. Everyone is not gullible.
  6. Trying to convince my bud that its a bad deal. I told him I think it is a rip but he says if the guy is willing to COD he is willing to pay. I also reviewed his ebay sales and saw him buying strange items such as earrings, knices, GPS antennas, and other assorted goods. I am not going to be doing business with him. I am the owner of a Avic-N2.
  7. So you were being facetious when you said you think it looked real?
  8. Trying to get the guy to COD one of these "unbelievably priced" units. He will answer the phone and converse with you about them but I am still skeptical. http://cgi.ebay.com/pioneer-Avic-D3-Z1- ... dZViewItem
  9. Could you elaborate on thinking this is a real deal and not a scam.
  10. I am just as leary as the next guy. I talked to the guy several times on the phone. Trying to get him to COD one to me and then I'll believe. Anybody who has dealt with him please chime in with the legitimacy of his offers. Seems too good to be true.
