  1. I have ALWAYS had this problem (bought my D3 in 2007). Some phones work better than others. I have my BT module under the passenger seat and have been thinking all the metal in the seat might be interfering with the signal. But putting phone on floor in front of passenger seat does not seem to help. Could just be another example of Pioneers crappy design and implementation. Will NEVER buy Pioneer again
  2. You guys rock I will support by seeding, but let me know if you want some $$ chipped in.
  3. The guys who sells them used ot be the first to post DL links - I guess he figured out he could charge for them. Nice to see mods took care of it. But we need a link!

  5. Ok so I hate it when I get the A-hole didya search replies,but... Look at the stickies above your post - both items are addressed.
  6. Hey All, I have been searching for info on creating custom gauges and/or a gallery with very little luck. Search only yielded a handful of threads with little or no info. Some did allude to a veritable plethora of post on the topic, but I can't find them. Even google only had a couple of images.
  7. Hey Jason, File seems to be messed cant unpack it and CRCs show as all zeros
  8. I am guessing you scored this used off eBay or something and cable was not included. No worries you can make one. Look for connectors at rat shack. Only 2 of the 3 are used, 1 is ground and 1 is battery (constant 12V). Pretty sure its the center pin that is unused. I don't recall which is which, but can check when I get home. Power has a 3Amp fuse You could also take cover off and identify the ground, other would be 12V. If you bought it new,do as VBLUE42 said and take it back. OK here is the info. See attached image in link Ground is Black wire on right and 12V is Yellow wi
  9. AWESOME! You rock Vandal. Just installed XM on my D3 and had to revisit AVIC411. Loaded your XM logos and a good thing just got better. THANKS! Quick question on how you get the artwork. Rather than pull off the pdf couldn't you get better (and easier?) logo images off the channel pages? for ex My hour and 15 min commute just got a whole lot better!
  10. Hey All, Anyone have any thoughts on making a homemade antenna tail? I bought my tuner used and did not get the power harness - I made my own with an inline fuse, but did not include a filter. I don't have any wine or noise, is the filter really needed?

  12. Hey All Just thought I would share my experience with my new SE W760 Walkman phone and my D3. I have an 8GB M2 card crammed with music which I can play on my D3 via blue tooth. SWEET Pros - never take phone out of pocket and my music is always with me. Cons - D3 does not give you any music info/track list - just basic, stop-play-advance buttons. Up till now I leave my ipod in my glove box
  13. More of a vent than a question. I have searched the manual and the forum for anything on speed sensitive volume, ie the volume gets louder with speed. I have a noisy truck so this would be a great feature for me. With VSS this should be a simple thing to do. I guess I should email Pioneer...

    D3 Good buy ?

Pull the trigger! I have had mine for a month. and LOVE IT! Installed the AVIC-D3 w/ BTB200, iPod and Boyo VTL-400 rear view camera. Actually started looking because my truck has terrible blind spot when backing up, so I wanted a rear view camera. As others have said using the ipod work great. The BT phone interface is as good as any OEM kit plus its fully integrated and easier to install. The Nav has some quirks - I dont like that it list all the streets for a 4 state area in my case. For ex, I can only imagine what searching for 101 Main ST would list! But that could just be my lack
