  1. It sounds like you have the mute wire in ok, you have a short somewhere...are you using a metra harness, if so check that...also if you have any splices in your lines double check that as well.
  2. No the amp has nothing to do with it...it can only be one of two things that can cause your problem, bad ground for your brake and mute wires, or the yellow mute wire isn't making a good contact with the pin of the d3. Make sure the mute wire didn't pull out (harness) during the bypass and install. I am assuming you move the mute wire to the correct location.
  3. Make sure the yellow mute wire didn't pull out when you pushed the harness into the d3, also make sure your ground source is good at the harness you mentioned.
  4. Yes it did in my case, if you have the same vehical it should be your fix as well...that of course , not knowing all of your details.
  5. Thank you very much for your time and Knowledge...
  6. I use iTunes for my songs, having a problem with the method of getting my dvd's (movies) to my Ipod, I downloaded some free software (dvdfab hd decrypter) to copy it to my computer...once on my computer I don't know what to do with it...am I even on the right track at all with my process... Also the free software I downloaded doesn't convert to the Ipod, unless I buy the complete version for 49.99... Is handbrake a better method?
  7. Problem solved, when all else fails read the directions...the blue wire has to be hooked up when you have a window antenna...it requires a antenna booster and the blue wire makes that all work............ Thanks for the replies.....
  8. Ok, there is a blue wire on the d3 harness, and a blue wire on the metra harness that plugs into the pilot harness, could it be that those two should be connected...I thought that was for a power antenna that retracts.
  9. There was another plug on the stock radio with only two wires, I thought that might be for the anti-theft funtion. Any help on finding the right wire to connect the blue wire to...thanks
  10. Yes...all I get is one strong station on fm, must be close in range...thanks
  11. Installed the d3, all is fine except for one thing, no matter how my wiring is conf. behind the unit I can not get a good reception on my radio stations. (lots of static) I even unpluged the nav. wire to see if that would help nothing there, I also tried moving my pac swips module, could it be a ground issue, I used the ground from the car plug for all. (radio, pac, bypass) This happens with or without the car running. (2003 Honda Pilot)
  12. Apple is selling refurb 80g 5.5 gen. ipods, does anybody know if they are making changes to them for they won't play videos on the d3...thanks
  13. You sure do have a lot of advise with no backing or proof...you're so quick to draw with no answers...this is a help forum, not for critics. Yeah!! You tell him!! How dare he try and help look out for others who are probably going to end up being scammed by a company that looks earily familiar to other shady camera/electronics sites? Personally, I couldn't believe it when he told you that the place was lying to you about the expansion slot.... why would an actual owner know more about the unit than some scumbag salesman at milleniumcamera.com? You must be blowing him...shutup...I a
