  1. Keep in mind, Siri voice and HF calling audio plays out of front channels only, the rear speakers are muted. Try adjusting the fader on the radio all the way to front speakers, if audio cuts out on all sources it's an installation issue. Most common is Chrysler/Jeep amplifiers with 2 channel rear input to the OEM amplifier. Easily resolved by wiring the front preouts or speaker wires to the rear channels on your installation harness.
  2. Try hooking up amp turn on from the amp to acc instead of remote wire on the deck. Make sure gain controls are set appropriately, no more than half way Also may be blown pico fuse internally on the deck from plugging rcas in and out while everything was powered up
  3. Wow, relax. Wishing a company and their employees out of business is pretty extreme and selfish. Tell that to an employee's kid. #firstworldproblems
  4. I did not see it in person. My phone will not be in for a few weeks, hopefully the same time this adapter comes out. However, he did test single din CD decks also that just use USB input and they worked. Really, anyone with an iPhone 5 should be able to go into a Best Buy and try it on an A/V unit to confirm. They have front USB and mini input. I would suggest anyone doing this to do a soft reset first (press and hold power and home button for 15 seconds)
  5. I had a buddy plug a iPhone 5 into the USB port on a x940 at Best Buy. Album art and control was there, just no audio of course.
  6. How can you confirm this, since the adapter isn't even available yet?
  7. Try changing the lettering to BOLD and change the font COLOR, then maybe your questions will get even more attention.

Lol, being in the industry for all these years, and I can't even begin to count the noobs that can install their own stuff. "I can do this, I'm an engineer" is the most popular one., or "I'm an electrician". Just have it installed dude, by your questions, you are way off. Hard earned money? You can afford a 30k+ truck, a $1000+ radio, you can certainly afford to have it installed, the right way. That is, unless you live by the american way, You owe 30k+ on the truck, you owe another $1000+ on your charge card for the deck, and live paycheck to paycheck.
  9. I had the z110 and now the dnx7160. I really miss the speed of the pioneer, but that's about it. The kenwood is very laggy.
  10. The IP bus cable is plugged into the wrong port on the tuner, comom issue.
  11. Seriously? How many different parrot dual mics did you find?
  12. GMOS-01 or GMOS-04 will not work on any of these vehicles. Just simply go to www.metraonline.com, you can look up the part numbers there.
  13. Does the sub keep playing? You could always plug the RCA'a into something else while it's occuring, home stereo or something. I doubt it's the radio, if it was it would effect more than just the sound, and give a temperature warning and the deck wouldn't boot up.
  14. How is it wired into the bose? You should be using the proeouts on the deck into the proper interface, not speaker leads
  15. I used to have an AVIC-D3, and reused that mic and have had no issues.
