I took a look at the connections in the back of the DVD player. And there are no RCA or standard A/V type plugs. It looks like a "factory" wire harness. I am wondering if anyone has done an install where I can "tap" into these wires to retain the use of the rear seat dvd

Are you sure there are just composites coming off the OEM flip down screen. And in the back of the OEM DVD player? I think it would be a wiring harness. But I havnt taken a look yet

I just took my Avic-D1 out of my 02' Explorer. And I just picked up an 05' Nissan Pathfinder. I would like to install the navi in this car. However, the new car has the Bose system with Flip down screen for back seats and a oem dvd player in the center console. Is it possible when installing my Avic-D1 to be able to wire in the OEM rear seat screen and OEM dvd player? Thank you!

yeah thats the same thing that has happened to me. It stops at like 30% or so..after about a week of downloading it. Some guys here are working on getting it onto an FTP site for us, so we just have to wait patiently for a little while. :D

I was thinking of buying this camera. Because it seems very easy to install (as in i dont have to drill). ANy one have any experience with these? Do the specifications seem like it is a good camera? But you do get used to the annoyance of it. Ive had the navi in my car for a year and now I start my car and just push the OK button like its a reflex.
