I have a z2 installed in my colorado and I used the speed sensor wire. I will try to get some pics when I get to work on monday. It is located on the passenger side frame rail right across from the exhaust manifold. On the other forum im on they say its the tan wire on that speed sensor plug. all i did was tap into that and i havent had any problems, hope this helps.

mine is mounted under the dash on my colorado and gets pretty strong signal strength.mine is mounte on the steel bar that is under the dash.most vehicles have a steel support bar under the dash.just stick it to the bar and check your signal.

i was almost going to buy a used one with a scratched screen so i looked in to getting a new screen.here is the link from pioneer,not sure wich one is the screen but it looks like you can get quite a bit of replacement parts for the unit.http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/model.asp?modelNum=AVIC%2DZ2. hope this helps.

im new to the site and have pretty much been using it as a reference but i bought a z2 about a month ago from onlinecarsterio.com, for $1399. i was kind of leary at first because their rating isnt that great but i had no problems and would definitly buy from there again.
