Yes, it boots up automatically. of course, when I hold menu+volume, it's works too. You can try reflash your avic http://hpcmonex.net/roms/avics1img.zip Just unpack on sd card, and run avic in service mode (hold menu and turn on), then choose WINCE Upgrade+format from SD Card (or something like that, I don't remember excatly). Then unpack files from Win CE unlocker.. At the start, it overwrites some system-files. As I wrote, this version of miomap http://rapidshare.com/files/48283711/Ywhtkdks.rar works fine. Hmm.. You should have hidden taskbar, on bottom of screen. Anyway, if you unpacked win ce unlocker on the SD card, and confirm "yes to all", you should have desktop with some icons, e.g. windows explorer. and don't forget, that you have to unpack MIOMAP (except maps) into "My Flash Disk" - it's internal memory.

Ahh finally I did it Step by step: 1. Unlock your Windows CE by this tool: http://benji46.free.fr/GPS/WinCE%20Unlocker%20V4.rar Unpack it on your SD card. 2. Download MIOMap (this is release for Becker, but works very well) http://rapidshare.com/files/48283711/Ywhtkdks.rar and unpack it to My Flash Disk\MNAV Folder MAPS have to be copied on SD Card. Now, just run MNAVDCE.EXE. If GPS doesn't work, change in sys.txt baud to 4800. You can also put shortcut to Windows/Startup if you want. you have to copy these files to sd card and power on your pioneer. then apply "yes to all" and wait. or, you can just copy this file to sd card. http://rapidshare.com/files/67823938/autorunce.exe.html then windows ce works fine, but I can't run TomTom or another application for GPS :/ I'm still trying, if I'll do it, I'll write solution.

by the way, i need copy of pioneer dvd, just any good maps (central europe) for avic s1, i have one with clean system. does anybody have it? and can upload on rapidshare?

Hi I received dead Avic-S1. I used image file from http://hpcmonex.net/roms/avics1img.zip and now i can run windows CE, but i still need navigation aplication and maps. i tried to run mio map 3.3 and it looks good, but i can't find any satelitte. does anybody know, is possible to run miomap on pioneer?
