    you have to get to the harness to get to the VSS wire from the radio. Now it depends on your vehicle wiring diagram for the location. If you vehicle had the OEM Navigation installed the VSS wire would be on the vehicles harness

    if its grayed out. then the parking brake wire is not properly grounded. if its not hooked up no worries. just hold it to ground area and hit okay, do the by pass and it will not ask you anymore.

    usb 1 is to be used for app radio for iphones. usb 2 for androids for app radio. also along with car play. it will work with usb 1. usb1: IPOD/IPHONE, USB STICK, SSD FLASH DRIVE. WILL WORK WITH DUAL ZONE ON USB 1 usb2: IPOD/IPHONE, ANDROID DEVICE, USB STICK, FLASH DRIVE, MAYBE A PORTABLE HDD. SD CARD: 32GB MAX CAPACITY CLASS 4-10 SDHC (NOT SDXC WILL CORRUPT AND STOP READING AND WRITING AFTER A WHILE)

    yes it will. either port id fine and any usb thumbdrive, ssd, not sure about hard drives. i think there is someone that has a harddrive installed. will work on either one. but if you want to mirror stuff to the rear tv USB1 works with dual zone. as for SD cards 64gb max capacity and it has to be SDHC. And your ipod will work on usb 2

    another issue it freezes at the OK screen with navigation when first starting the car. Have to hit the home button and click map button again then I can select OK.

    it clearly says on the wire with a little green tag on a green wire "PARKING BRAKE WIRE" just use a tap connector to the ground connected on the harness

    As I replied to your message in my inbox. Mirror is only on 6000, 7000, 8000. If somebody has a work around. Please help this guy. If not I would return it and get anyone of those radios that can do it.

    Haha. True. I don't pay. I use google play and upload my whole media library from iTunes there and it works great on the NEX. Upto 20k songs free. Not a dime.

    8000nex hands down. Don't need a remote if I have steering wheel control capabilities. Source changing, volume up and down, track changing. Mute and phone pick up and hang up. Remote would've been nice though.

    That's why some of these stores offer warranty through them. The website I bought it from offered a 3 yr warranty. If anything happens I can return it to them. If I would've known this I've too would've gone with an a authorized dealer. It shouldn't what store I bought it from. It should still be covered. For example: if I buy a apple product at airport or non high brand retail store it's still covered. Smh.

    Use an anti glare screen protector from an iPad or iPad mini. Cut it down to size. Ididn't need it. But it helps.

    GPS re routed me all around. I was 1.2 miles away from the neighborhood walgreens. And it took me around a scenic route 4.4 miles around. Next I was going to drop my in law at the greyhound bus stop. Which was 20 mins away. Never been there. Took me on another scenic route and took to someone's house just to tell me to make a u turn and go back the same way I came from in one hour. Smh. I was pissed.

    I used my multimeter to tune my amps for clipping. And some 40-1000htz tones

    To look for your video files. There's a folder icon on the music timer bar. It separates the file format to MUSIC VIDEO PHOTOS
