I downgraded my F90BT this morning, went from v4 to v3. The things I lost after upgrading to v4 came back as soon as I was back on v3!! So yes, it is possible.

Figured out the problem, I had an older version of WINCE and a newer version mixed up. A fresh SD card with V.3 files fixed the issue. I then went ahead and updated to V.4 with IGO8 USA 2013 Q3 maps right after. Everything works GREAT now! The issues I was having while trying to update the first time stemmed from the Hybrid 4.001 with maps were to big for WINCE, it was 2.32GB. After I went through and trimmed the fat a bit it installed fine! I basically deleted Canada, a few POI's, and all the voices except for english. After all that I got it down to 1.89GB. I've got an f9bt running on v3, I tried updating to v4 (hybrid) but kept getting map install errors while the files were transferring to the radio. So I cancelled the transfer. The radio came back on fine except now the system startup in progress, please wait box is not going away. I can click on things and they seem to work fine, just the system startup box is always on the menu screen. Also when I click on maps just a pioneer logo comes up, no maps anymore. I'm new to the AVIC game so any help would be much appreciated. Please&Thanks!
