  1. Is that 4000NEX in a '15 STi? Awesome! I have an 8000NEX in mine. I look forward to seeing your progress, thank you for doing this.
  2. Welp, it just looks like this particular unit has a habit of getting stuck. The 2 lane highway I go on in the morning is quite bumpy for the first 3-4 miles, and it messes with the sensor. Eventually it just gets fed up and sticks me going permanently left. I'm upgrading to the 8000NEX, hopefully I won't have this issue.
  3. So I did another hard reset on the way home and it seemed to work on my 20 mile commute. I spoke with my dealer and told him that I will continue testing until Monday, and if it's fine until then then we won't need a swap. Hoping it keeps working because I don't want to open my dash again.
  4. Would anyone be willing to do me a favor and reset their 3D calibration on flat/level ground while not moving? When I reset mine and I'm completely stationary, the sensor thinks I'm turning left. Just want to confirm it's just me.
  5. My issue is different I think. I can be driving perfectly straight in 1 lane on the highway, and the GPS will think I took an exit and will try to put me on various side streets. It's really bad. When the sensor is in its "initializing" mode after resetting (guessing it's not being used) it works perfectly fine. Kind of wish I could just disable the gyro all together. Just doesn't seem to want to recalibrate at all, or gets stuck easily.
  6. The derp on the pioneer support line told me to relocate my antenna. Reading the manual more closely, it looks like direction is gathered from a gyro sensor in the head unit, not the antenna. I have plenty of connectivity where the antenna currently is (under a thin piece of plastic in the dash) so I'm not moving it.
  7. Has anyone had any trouble with the 3D calibration? My sensor seems to think I'm always taking a left when the car is driving straight. I've tried resetting the sensor a few times (all settings) and it doesn't seem to want to fix. Anyone else running into this issue?
  8. Thank you for posting this. I can confirm that I have found similar results with an Android phone and an iPod Classic 160 gb plugged into either USB1 or USB2.
  9. OK, so I have some information for you guys that wasn't quite clear from reading the manual (at least to me). If you want any BT audio to work with the 6000NEX, you absolutely cannot have an iPod plugged into either USB1 or USB2. I started up the car with the iPod unplugged and it picked up BT audio, Pandora, and Aha no problem. This seems like a terrible design choice. Hopefully firmware will fix it in the future.
  10. I have, that requires the phone to be plugged in via USB, which I do not want to do. The manual states specifically that Pandora and Aha can be used over a BT connection.
  11. Phone is definitely connected as a phone/media device (BT Audio works great), also did the smart phone setup.
  12. I have so far been unsuccessful following the steps in this video: The 2 icons are greyed out and cannot be selected, even when the app is started on my phone. Bluetooth connection with my phone is no issue (connects really fast, stays connected).
  13. Worked on my 6000NEX, took several attempts to find the right spot.
