I haven't had any issues with sd card playback, just USB drive so far

hmmm.... now it appears this drive likes to crash the nex8000... very odd.... basically what it does now is tries to read then shortly after the unit reboots.... then says LOADING........... and gets stuck.... no way to get out of it until USB remove and power cycle....

ok I figured it out..... it appears the headunit will NOT let you have MUSIC and VIDEO files on same USB to switch between.... once you add music files, video files get inaccessible....

looks like it appears it just cannot read video files from my PNY 128GB USB Drive... it says FAT32.... I put same videos on a Sandisk 4GB usb drive and played fine... bah!

Is there anything to be aware of trying to play video from USB? currently I have USB2 for android phone cable, USB1 has female adapter. Only views music, other files get greyed out... playback only available from USB2 ?

I do not recall it being verified but it only takes SD cards, not SDHC. Which is why 32gb limit

if you in app mode why would you think another function would work?? that's like saying why cant I watch a movie and listen to radio at same time

agreed... stick with a class 10 sd card

as others have stated, turn off camera view... this is not for reverse operation.... long as you have camera plugged into brown port, camera input on and connected purple/white wire to reverse signal then shouldn't be an issue....

I was watching a video on youtube.... I have disabled/enabled Bluetooth but the app doesn't try to connect automatically if I go to settings in Bluetooth and connect to unit, it pairs, app says trying to connect then disconnects... sigh.......

Maybe I must be doing something wrong or my cable doesn't work correctly I have USB cable into USB2 slot, hdmi cable in I see my phone makes charging sound, so does radio if I disconnect, I can see where it says HDMI cable removed... however, when I open App Radio unchained, it shows grey Bluetooth picture....I have unplugged and replugged the phone... sometimes I will see cable insert picture, looks like it will connect then android taskbar shows "disconnected"..... argh... Bluetooth is already paired without issue... I did notice however for the phone it is not pulling any p
