I have had my unit for 3 years now and have done nothing to it till yesterday. Ordered the Navteq 2013 map upgrade and feature enhancement from pioneer electronics site. Followed the instructions to a T. Hooked the car to a battery charger, started unit, inserted sd card 1, followed onscreen prompts. Arrived at screen where it said 30 minutes remaining with progress bar. Left car for about 30 minutes and returned, still had 5 minutes remaining. Left again and checked again in about 5 minutes, found screen blank and buttons illuminated. Read several warnings to not cycle power while updating. F
