  1. Hi, I have a Pioneer AVIC-X1. Mine has a dim screen, so needs a new replacement. When trying to adjust the volume it does not always work and can drop the power as the pop-out facia seems a bit loose. The sliding out of the screen can be a bit slow and not always travels the full distance, so gets left out all the time. Can anyone recommend any suitable repair companies in the UK please? I've been in touch with DTRONIX who was recommended by Pioneer, but they weren't interested due to its age :( Thanks in advance for any
  2. I've installed a Pioneer X1BT and got it up and running. I've now come to connecting the auto changer (CDX-P670) but its lifeless. Do I need to isolate the battery and accessory feeds to get the head unit to acknowledge its existance? I've only switched off the ignition (accessory lead connection) so far. Any help would be appreciated please. Thanks in advance
  3. Please be nice to me as I'm very new to my X1BT I've almost sorted the wiring of my X1BT, however I'm wondering what to do about the cable for the speed sensor (SSC) on the 'hide away unit'. What effect will it have if I do not wire it up? If the SSC is a 'must' does anyone know where to connect it on a Merceds Sprinter 313 (2002 UK spec)? I have looked at various manuals and sites, but they've all left me confused. Thanks in advance
  4. Be nice to me please, very green with my new X1BT, I have one reversing camera plugged in to the 'hide away unit'. The socket is next to the antenna socket. All ok so far The question is, do I use the video socket by the reversing camera socket, or the video socket on the other side of the hide away unit as the manual has confused me, sorry. Second question... I don't have the original lead from the hide away unit to the rear reversing lights, does anyone know what size (ohms) resistor I need to use in series with the feed please? Thanks in advance for any help
