  1. Yes ,you can still listen to Sirius satellite radio, when using waze , i do it all the time you will be able to adjust the volume for both, independent of each other when doing so,this combination gives you the best of both worlds
  2. Thanks,i was familiar where the settings were but it has never worked for me and a few others, and this is my second unit. I thought it was defective on my first one but after i got the second one it was the same.
  3. Thanks,that's what i was referring to.
  4. The dings or the alerts that let you know a instruction is coming, has never worked on mine and i have had two Avic7000,I was wondering if anyone had this issue and if so did the firmware updates fix this?
  5. I ended up exchanging it for a replacement, they said the unit was faulty. i went back and forth with the seller from eBay because i wanted to exchange it in person since i was going to be in California and i was going to be in the area that i ordered it from and i did not want to drive around without my radio and navigation for a week or so,but they kept insisting that i ship it back instead of exchanging it in person which made me very suspicious, after about ten long email exchanges and insistence, they had me go to another location and exchange it in some tiny hidden store that look
  6. It was the 7000,and tried resetting as well as pulling the power.
  7. I was driving and decided to look for a dairy Queen when i switched to the gps screen it said gps failed contact manufacturer or dealer, the unit was working fine yesterday now is's has a problem, pulled it out to check all the connections everything is plugged in, even the vss is not working and it has been,,i also checked the diagnostic function and it said speed pulse not detected as well as gps. i hope this is something minor or i might go ahad with the Kenwood Excelon DNN991HD.
  8. I have a NEX 7000,and so far i love it except i can't get the alert tones and the dings(alert tone that precedes the verbal instructions),I've tried adjusting all the volumes in the navigation settings, but nothings seems to work.Sometimes i don't need the verbal commands so i mute it, but it would be nice to have the dings so i know i have an approaching maneuver, is there anybody that has this function working for them??
