how has there never been an answer to this question?! I have the same issue and did a search and it appears a TON of people have it as well, and yet ive never seen a solution! does anyone know?!

So my avic the other day randomly turned off, and turned itself right back on...weird but ok, yesterday it turned off and will not turn back on and im baffled. All the wires in the harness have good connections and I volt tested the power from the harness and it does indeed have power. Couple people told me it could have just burnt out from use? I commute like an hour and a half each way everyday, so the thing gets hot, and is on constantly when driving (duh) Is that possible?! Can it be repaired? Anyone know a place I can send it to be repaired?! I Appreciate the help! I miss my avic! D

where would you find the guide tone on/off

I got mine used and dont actually HAVE the owners manual, sorry if its a noob question, just have no other outlet to find out. thanks again

whenever you hit any buttons it makes that BEEP noise, is there a way to lower it, or even turn it off?! Its really loud on mine and drives me nuts. thanks! Ken

Have an AVIC d-3 and cannot get videos from the ipod to play, ipod plays music and everything fine, but wont play videos from it. Says to use the ipod interface or something like that. Mind you I get the Audio from the video the ipod is trying to play, but just a black screen on the avic d-3 thanks in advance!
