yepp! my 06 fusion has the exact problem..sometimes the fwd/back doesnt work either..but lately it has. media has always worked. so i need to take my car back to my installer and have him program it in version 2?

well the unit i currently have i just bought used, not from an authorized dealer...

so i bought a used z110bt on ebay for $660 shipped..got $52 cash back comming. recieved it to find its missing the mic, gps, and usb assembly, has some blemishes on the screen that you can only see during the daytime and a tiny scratch that you dont notice unless you look close on the bezel. the seller is refusing to work with me stating thats what he put in the auction..even though it doesnt say anything about it. lost the partial refund dispute on ebay for the missing bits/wear = $200..and i would accept $150 as the 3 missing parts will cost about $125. my credit card will dispute the full $

i too was going through the same debate. ended buying a used 110 for $600 and im happy i did. the unit boots up in about 10 seconds, backup camera immediately turns on when i go into reverse and the whole unit just operates flawlessly with the big beautiful screen. also no lag from my steering wheel controls nice jump from the d3 in my old car

4 mo old z110bt 2 weeks ago the unit stopped recognizing anything usb that was hooked up to it and lately most of the people iv talked to through bluetooth were saying they heard static in the background. so i borrowed a new microphone and usb terminal from one of my friends who just purchased a new z110bt to find out if mine had gone bad and surprise surprise ipod works again and calls are crystal clear. pioneer sells these replacement parts for $50/each on their website but i wonder if they'll send em to me for free if i call em up as my unit which they came with is under warrenty

so im debating between these two units. just sold off my 2yr old avic w/my old whip and picked up a 2006 fusion 5spd. gotta have bluetooth to chat..deff hooking up my ipod. Iv already bought an aca200w backup cam for $60 and the SWI-PS for $40. I can get a refurb f90bt (which ill flash to 3.0) for $350 or a new z110bt for $900..is it worth the $550 difference to get the z110bt? or even the $350 if i can pull off there rebate also if i do get the f90bt and later want to upgrade to the z110bt would the old wiring be compatible? also my understanding is with the 3.0FW there is no lag with th
