for anyone who is interested...i had the antenna moved to the trunk lid and reception is a non-issue now.

i wasn't even aware you could hook up hd radio on the z series

all of these questions have been answered on here countless times difference is firmware and maps no hd look around, check ebay and amazon search

yea i saw that thread...didn't really go into much detail, and most of the posts were garbage. thanks though for the sarcasm. my next questions would be how was the install overall, with removing the headliner and a-pillar.

Has anyone on here run the cable for sat radio to the stock sharkfin antenna with the cable extension from kufatec?

the f series display is much nicer than the z...why didnt they make the z change screen/button color like the others!?

whoa whoa fine tuning channel? details! also, i have noticed that my reception blows most of the time, going to marginal just from going under trees, and sometimes for no reason at all in a clear sky. any ideas? i just have the 10xmt and the stock antenna on my dash.

i wonder how much longer they will keep the programming running.

i attempted to buy it, and after figuring the cost of a pack of dvd's, download and burn times, it was just easier to buy the disc on ebay. 20 bucks is worth less to me than the hassle of all that.

amazon itself is a good site, you just have to know the reliability of the seller on there who is selling what you want.
