yeah, i'll jump on the "Why" bandwagon... why the bloody HELL would you not put IR remote capability in your "flagship" HU? That's just colossally idiotic
-
i have a 32 gig SD card and only 9 gigs of music total... i can afford a bit of wasted space
-
Can i put my music in separate folders so i can choose a specific playlist?
-
oh, you misunderstand my goal... the only devices i need to be able to plug in are my iPhone and a Flash drive. I just want the other USB ports to charge things when needed. I don't need the pioneer to be able to read 4 devices from one hub.

Assuming i don't plug in my iPhone, what can I control with voice commands? Can i set a destination for my gps, change the radio station, etc? It comes with a Mic, so I assume it probably does SOMETHING without having to plug my phone into it, but I have no clue what that might be

unpowered usb hubs are too simple not to be supported.... it's just a normal USB split into 4 channels... i'm not so worried about that. I just want to make sure i have my Lightning cable in the right port so i can use it for full functionality with my iPhone. Looks like Port 1 it is

Okay so i'm having my 8000 installed tuesday, and i need to know where to plug in my peripheral cords. I'm putting a 4 port USB hub in one, and a dedicated IPHONE 5 plug in the other. Does it matter which one I plug in to port 1 and port 2?
-
I don't know what that means... what's the SWI-PS interface? Feinberj, i don't have steering wheel buttons
-
can anyone else verify that the SR100 will work with the 8000?
-
i can't find one that's wireless. Is there one available?

My D3 was stolen, so I'm upgrading to an 8000. I need to find out if the wiring harness and install kit that i already have are compatible. I have never done a stereo install, so this is likely to be a challenge, so any help you can give me is incredibly welcome. I have a 2003 Nissan Xterra, so if anyone knows what exactly i'll need to install my 8000, please let me know.
