I read through as many posts as i could, but i still had a question. I HAD a z2 before but it was stolen out of the car, and it was bypassed using the cdrom on this site, and 2wire ground method. i just picked up a z3, and im trying to bypass it. do i bypass it just the same as the Z2? meaning...use the same cdrom from the z2 guide, and ground the same wires?

JasonH chime in? I was hoping to see Jason post videos reproducing the problems owners are having so we can have video proof to show Pioneer. A company like Pioneer gets inundated with calls/email of 'problems' with their products that im sure 99% of the time end up as 'user error' because people didnt RTFM. But video that shows a problem being replicated over and over again would give Pioneer a good starting point to help owners out. -
ADMIN EDIT: Pioneer is not recalling the units, but will provide a software update as soon as possible. After reading through all the owner issues on this forum, and other forums as well, I still decided that I could live with those annoyances and I wanted one. I called around a few shops here in Miami and no one had it in stock, i started calling shops that were a little farther away from my home and finally found a few in stock at a shop way down south in Miami. I drove there at 12pm today and asked for the rep i had spoken to on the phone. i was told he was at lunch but if i needed hel

I just installed mine today on an 02 alty, i was hoping to install it on my new g35 but the install parts havnt come in for the g35 and i just couldnt resist seeing it installed. I agree, one of the best features is the built in 6cd changer. i love navi, dont get me wrong, but the 'wow' factor of navi gets old quick, but the benefit of having 6 cds with mp3s queued up just keeps giving...i have 4 cds full of mp3s, rock, hiphop, dance, chill/ambient and 2 dvd's(the office, and chapelle show) custom backgrounds would be nice..but ehhh...the built in animated backdrops are pretty slick,
