  1. Hi all, I've spent months trying to get an image to display correctly on my x8500 and I finally got it working! It had nothing to do with the size in pixels or the size in bytes...believe it or not it came down to something called "Pixel Sampling". I looked on page 70 of the manual which gives the specs for JPEG images. The Pixel Sampling has to be 4:2:2 or 4:2:0. The images I was trying to use were all set to a Pixel Sampling of 4:4:4. Once I resampled the images to 4:2:2 using the Mac Gimp software they all displayed! By the way, the photo I used is attached and here are the prop
