  1. I have a 64gb SD for kids movies and my SSD is for my movies and music. That way i wont mess them up. I can just push SD to rear video and know its always a cartoon.
  2. YES i just had a 15hr drive with my kids and i could not use carplay maps at all and push video from my SD or USB to the headrest

  4. Ditto.. i have a usb 3 enclosure for my SSD and its a single USB cable for power and data. It works great.
  5. If i choose Siri thru the center nex button it never works..if i do it from my phone home button long press it always works while connected to nex4000.
  6. No i highly doubt it. Most OEM mics are integrated into the factory radio harness.
  7. YES since day one.. it will start a loop on itself if you get multiple text at once and are slow to respond. My Siri never works once i am moving for things other than messages.
  8. I use a micon 240gb M500 SSD.. its great.
  9. Does anyone else have an issue with HEY SIRI commands? I say hey siri it launches but then is flat lined..i speak but it does not work. It does tend to work when stopped though?
  10. Update if you want carplay. I like it so far. But when i need videos i just jump back. It works well enough but the USB call quality is not as good.
  11. I have a240gb SSD full of music and videos. It restarts on the movie i had open just like before. No issue here.
  12. Yes use a 3rd party app like EASEus partition master for large drives to FAT32 and it works fine.. i have a 64gb SD fat32 and 256gb ssd in ntfs both working great for video and audio
  13. I did the SELINIX and rooted. I will try another HDMI cable.. question: can i use my MHL adpater and use USB power from another source not head unit? Its just power for the unit right so i dont need to take up one of my USB ports off the 4000?
