How long was it between the last firmware update to the CarPlay update?
-
Looking forward to the next one with bug fixes!
-
Weird, I have that connected but still nothing. I'll double-check when I open it up to add my backup camera.

Maybe I missed this somewhere on a thread or something, but how do you turn on Night Mode? When I turn on my lights, the screen is still bright. What's the secret here?
-
Maps on CarPlay need much better contrast. It's really hard to see the roads at the default setting of 0 contrast, 0 brightness. Even setting the contrast way down only helps a little. Disappointing, although I think it's more Apple's fault and the fact that the screen is not HD quality in any way.

Hi all - I just got the AVIC-8000NEX today. I also needed the AXXESS AX-ADBOX1 for steering wheel controls (along with harnesses ADTY01 and the ASWC-1). I have only one last question before I go install this in my car (Toyota Sienna 2008 Limited)... The instruction manual for the AXXESS AX-ADBOX1 says: The problem is, I don't know what the "amp turn on wire" coming out of the 8000NEX is. I already have my blue/white wire from the 8000NEX connected to the blue wire on on my ADTY01 for the "radio's antenna turn on wire". All other wires are connected properly as far as I can
