  2. I installed the Avic D3 awhile ago and just got the xm/nav. I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado that came from the GM factory XM ready with the XM Antenna mounted to the roof. I want to use this antenna with my Avic D3 and XM but I cant figure out how. So for the time being I just used the antenna that came with PIONEER GEX-P10XMT. Is there a way to use my factory mounted antenna. I called XM and they said yes but i cant figure it out. I hope someone is able to help me out Current Setup: Pioneer Avic-D3 Pioneer GEX-P10XMT Here's a picture to show the antenna I am talking about:

I ordered my D3 from a site online for 663.00 and it was rainy yesterday here in maryland so I just did the wiring and did the bypass but didnt take it out to the truck yet did it all in the house. my question is: I have a 2004 Silverado Crewcab that is already wired from the GM Factory so that all I have to do is call XM and thats it. But once I install the D3 I need to buy the XM Tuner right? Will my factory XM plug thats already in the truck just plug right into the XM tuner and the XM
