Anyone solve this issue? The drive seems to work, I can view saved addresses, etc. Just when I try to map somewhere it presents me with the exact same message.

I have a 2000 Audi TT and was hoping to mimic my 2-Din D3 unit in my SUV. I noticed that Pioneer does not seem to have any new pop up 1 DIN models currently. Any idea why that is? Is there going to be one coming? Which was the last 1 DIN pop up model, and what it any good? Currently have a nice Pioneer radio in it, but would really love to get rid of my crapping Garmin GPS and put in a nice touch NAV system.

I find that kinda a slap in the face that there has not been a software update to allow the Bluetooth stack on the D3 to PULL contacts from the iPhone. I have had my D3 for several months, and the ONLY issue I have is the lack of support for the iPhone (not Bluetooth music). I installed a new DEH-P7000BT into my Audi TT which seems to do eveything minus the NAV piece as the D3 for 1/3 the cost. Plus it allows me to download the phonebook into the headunit. REALLY hoping the D3 makes this happen with a software update soon! Sorry for the rant, just sucks that my expensive headunit can'

Perfect, kinda figured that was what was required. Where seems to be the cheapest(not shady) place to buy?

I currently have a AVIC-D3 in my SUV and really like it. I am looking to upgrade my current headunit in my Audi TT which will require a Single DIN unit. I found a AVIC-N1 on Craigslist from what seems like a good guy. What I want is a modern device that allows me to do the following items: XM iPod Interface WITH an iPhone NAV DVD hopefully Bluetooth Phone Function I want the interface to look at modern as possible and I certainly want my Mapping to be new. Basically I want my D3 in my TT. I would prefer not to drop $1200 on a new unit. What options are out there for me, I kno

I know it mattered back when I had a Pioneer 6800, if I didn't hook up the AUX piece before the XM I would hear XM over anything coming over the AUX unit. I plan to have XM (NavTraffic), Bluetooth module and the iPod cable. Wondering in what order they should be hooked up... or is the newer ip bus more intelligent? Also I have not purchesed the Bluetooth module yet, I plan to add it shortly, so if I wait on that I want to be able to easily access and hookup that module in whatever place it should go into- knowing where it should go in line helps a lot This might all be a moot poi

Is it worth buying XM nav Traffic $$$$
hackths replied to travisj315's topic in XM/Sirius/HD Radio and Traffic Receivers
Just as I was about to post about this, I see this thread. Looks like I will just hookup my existing Pioneer XM unit rather then blow $150 on a NavXM unit. -
Perfect, good to know, thanks!

I have an older Pioneer XM box (non-Nav unit) that has an wired display that goes up front, it has an FM modulator built into it, I can't think of the exact model, but it does have the ip bus connection on it for sure, I think it was the 900 or 903 or something like that. Does anyone know if that unit can be plugged into the D3?

Will the CD-UB100 and AVIC-D3 work with the iPhone?
hackths replied to hackths's topic in iPod/iPhone/iPad
Thats actually what I was asking, if the CDI200 works with the iPhone without issue. -
I only have an iPhone (no other iPod). I want to hook that into an AVIC-D3 that I will be purchasing shortly, connecting it over the CD-UB100. Just wanted to make sure it would plug right in and go
