Finally contacted Pioneer. Suggested I download the latest firmware. That did it! One simple lightning cable and APPS works. Now Pioneer just needs to develop some additional useful apps.

Really? 360 replies and no advice? Help please. Did I spend the cash on a product I can't use as advertised?. I want to be able to use the NAV app in particular.

Do I need something other than the lightning cable to use the AppRadio mode? The screen shows an "-X" next to APPS. I've read a lot here but before I buy something else, I want to be sure exactly what I need. When I bought the HU I had no idea I needed a bunch of other shit to get the most out of it.
