Will this work on an avic-n1 that has been upgraded with the _ _ _70 discs? (instead of opening it)

They will take it off and they will also charge you a 200 dollar fee for tampering with the unit. Just got mine back. I doubt they did anything to make it harder to do the bypass again. I guess I will find out soon when I get the mod done, AGAIN.

Had that problem. Tried to buy the flex-cable and they said it wasen't for sale anymore. So I shipped my unit and now they are saying that fixing the cable won't solve the issue. I think they say that because I had the bypass mod done. Now they're charging me 200! They will most likely unsolder the mod.

anybody know how to disconnect the speed sensor wire? I have to send it in to get fixed but can't get that wire off.

You have to go into the service menu. You put a code in with the joystick/knob to get into the menu. Do a search and you will find it!

Same problem here. What I usually do is just take the disc out and then stick it back in, works for me.
