  1. Of course... but with no luck so far. My original maps together with the .lic file are there but nothing that I can find with an .lyc license....
  2. OK... Thanks. So now I need a set of maps with a license (in .lyc format) for the Middle East. Can anyone help out or direct me to somewhere or someone that can? Thanks again.
  3. Hi... Yes. Deleting the various licences that I didn't need anymore helped. I have a slightly different problem now though... .....
  4. Now, you can put any content on the device for which you have a working license. After installing the patch, your maps software will take any content with any valid license for that content. Even if the license from another device (check of license hardware id (SWID) is disabled in our libraries). Hi asd255 and Team. I have everything set on my 8100NEX and have been trying to transfer the files for Middle East maps on and off for a few days now. I have a problem with the license though where my unit just restarts when I try to start the navigation option and have already tried a few
  5. Thanks WhatIsWhatIsWhatIsWhat ... I'll try your suggestion and let you know how it goes.
  6. Hi All, I've installed a new set of maps and licence using the USB-Avic script - all has gone well except that I now get an error message "Out of Memory" when iGo launches. Please see screen shot attached.... any help, guidance or assistance would be very much appreciated...
  7. As per our other post.... Thank you so much for the update asd255 - really looking forward to being able to use our built in navigation again. Please keep us updated on any more news and let us know if you need anyone to test on the 8100NX.

  9. Hi jhren, Thanks for taking a look for us. The UAE maps aren't available for the 8100NEX via Naviextras - hence our problem. I did email the Naviextras support team and they told me that although there is a full set of iGo Middle East Maps they are just not available at the moment for "this device" and that they have no current view on when this will change which is of course dissapointing. In the toolbox "store" view it seems that I could buy new maps of just about everywhere else in the world from Europe to Africa I'm going to have another go later today at creating an update US
  10. Hi BigCix. Thats what were doing at the moment as a work around but looking for a more permanent soution. I have my HTC M9 but Anna uses an iPhone - changing the NEX settings everytime we switch who's driving is a pain and to be honest Anna isn't the most technically minded girl - it was a struggle just to get her used to sing the in build navigation app back home never mind trying to get her to change the settings. So - still looking for some help... or ideas. Willing to give anything a try.
  11. Hi All. We are looking for some help... We've just moved to Dubai from Texas for work reasons and we shipped our Jeep Wrangler with an 8100NEX that I installed when they were first released. We are now faced with not being able to use the in built navigation as there are no maps available for the Middle East via NaviExtras for the 8100NEX series We do have a full set of 2014 Q.4 iGo maps purchased for our HTC M9 Android phone and they are really good. Is there anyway that we can get the maps loaded on to the 8100NEX head unit? I thought about creating an update USB Dongle but looking for
