    To use AppRadio on the 8100 I also have the iPhone 6+ It is connected to HDMI and USB jack 1 (on top) using http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD826AM/A/lightning-digital-av-adapter Bluetooth on The USB extension cable is the Pioneer brand (not sure why that would matter??). Seems to be working fine.
