Still waiting for Pioneer to bring back the loudness, BBE and Compression/BMX Processing Effect. Sure did love my old Pioneer DEH-P9800BT head unit

****update**** Figured out what happened, Pioneer Support informed me the Navigation Sound (Voice TTS, Beeps and Alarms) will only come from the front speakers. Apparently, my RCA cables from my 4 channel Amp was reversed. All this time I was listening to my rear connection and not the front. (Doh!!) I corrected the cable and now I am able to hear the Navigation Sound.

Easy question, does the navigation factory reset remove the updated maps on a AVIC-7100NEX?

Make sure the external Hard Drive is a FAT 32. I've seen issues if the Drive is a NTFS. How big is the Drive?

I have a avic-7100nex and updated the firmware from 1.03 to 1.05. The update was successful but when I used the navigation I lost all sounds from Alarms, Beeps, Warning and Announcer. I tried the factory reset within Navigation but still the same issue. I went through changing the Voice Announcer and still the same issue. Has anybody come across this issue before? Much help would be appreciated. Thanks

After much tuning around with the headunit, amps and the Auto EQ Mic, I now hear the bass that I was missing. I turned off LPF/HPF on my both of my amps and decided to use the HU crossover...WOW! It made a big difference!! For the subwoofer, I placed the crossover at 50hz with a slope of -6db (since I'm only looking for the low bass frequency), next I placed the HPF for both my front and rear speakers at 200Hz with a slope of -6db. I used the Auto EQ Mic, adjusted the Listening Position (Front Left) and BAM!!! My sound was booming!! Started hearing my Low Bass, Crisp Highs and Clear Mids

Has anybody had this issue when you shift your vehicle in Park from D, it makes a weird "white-noise" sound? I have a Honda Ridgeline and an AVIC-7100NEX installed. Each time I unlock or lock my doors while the headunit is on it makes a white-noise/static sound for 1 second and it goes away. I mentioned when I place my truck in Park, it makes the same sound only because my doors unlock when shifting to Park. Any help would be appreciative. Thanks

I'm having the same issue that cbergen470 is having. Removed my old radio (Pioneer DEH-P9800BT) and installed my new radio (AVIC-7100NEX). Everthing works fine except the bass. It doesn't matter what source (Bluetooth Audio, HD Radio, SD Card or CD) I'm using, I can not get a good bass sound like I did with my old radio. I have JL Audio Amp XD 600/1v2 running through 2 of my 10in Woofers inside my truck. I decided to use the Radio LPF at 200Hz with a slope of -6 and all I was getting was the upper bass (150 - 250Hz) sound. It barely gave me the low bass (0 - 80Hz). So then I decided to
