  1. 1. You can't see your movie and nav at the same time. you may hear the audio but if you pick nav you get nav video if you want to watch a movie either dvd or ipod this is the only source you will see So NO SPLITSCREEN if that is what you want. 2. There is no integration between the addresses and Nav through your cell phonebook. You can upload your phonebook but it doesn't correlate to the nav. Also I think the unit will only hold 100 maybe it's 300 numbers so if your like me you won't have them all. I created a category in my cell phone and added all the numbers i wanted to sync to the DNX
  2. Does anyone know how to replace the startup screen on the Kenwood DNX7100?

I am a new 7100 guy and am right there with you and know exactly what you mean i am trying to remember how i fixed it.this screen has a few separate settings other than the menu screen that has the play pause etc. functions. If I find more i will send through. J-
  4. The usb is in the back and is rather short. You can add 3 custom wallpapers in the form of 480x270 via USB only.I am trying to get used to it initially wanted a Pioneer but was talked into a Kenwood. I wish there was a specific Kenwood forum if you find one please let me know. J-
  5. factory harness and then into the AVIC? Or does the scosche harness just fit the factory harness and then I wire the avic into it?
  6. Yes there is the JBL System does it need a trim ring also?
  7. Does anyone know if there is a wiring harness for the Toyota? I would like to install a D3 into this vehicle. Any suggestions?
  8. I had a mod done on my '08 Ford Nav unit. The website http://www.nav-video-interface.com/index.php These guys put a 2 input video connection to your radio 1 for reverse camera and the other for any other video source. They charged me $ 450.00 for this. There is a toggle switch for the video source between the auxiliary input or stock nav info. The reverse cam input is automatic when vehicle is put into reverse. The audio is Inline FM modulator but sounds really good. These guys turn this around in 24 hours! Just for info if you don't want to replace your unit.
  9. Does anyone have any info yet about making this radio really do something good. Motion Bypass would be nice... Please Help or let me know who may need an expensive paper weight. Thanks, Jordan
