I apologize for the dumb question. I bought the unit used with no manual, and searching "install" here is a trip. Just as a suggestion, a more updated forum software and better search would yield good results. But thank you for answering! I really appreciate it

Hey, I had a question. The head unit does actually work without the brain plugged in. I got everything wired and tried to test it, and no work. Help!!

How hot do heat guns get? And how dispersed is the heat. I have 2 things Im thinking about trying to use before buying a heat gun. 1) hair dryer 2)ceramic 100 watt heat bulb that is normally used to keep my hedgehog warm(this thing puts out a lot of dispersed heat, don't want to apply too much heat and cook something :( Sorry If I'm asking dumb questions. Great idea on the circuitwriter pen!!

Well, the unit comes in wednesday and I was able to get he whole dl. I'm going to try to burn them from the un-zipped torrent and see if it works. If it doesnt, ill ask you for sure! I really appreciate it! Everyone around here is VERY helpful. Nice to see everyone not jump on the noob!

Well, an N2 is significantly more involved to install than a headunit with only cd and radio functions. I was wondering if there were going to be any hang ups that I would run in to, something unexpected to someone who has never done the install before, but normal to those that have. Any quirks or what not.
