I am selling my Avic Z2 with Z3 60GB 5400RPM Hard Drive It has a slight "hissing" noise that I have never been able to get to go away, but someone that is technically savy may be able to fix it? Looking to Get $800.00 for it. Will entertain all offers...

I have had 2 different installers look at the system, all ascratching there head. - I cannot get the navigation to go into night mode. (illumination wire is hooked up correctly, getting the correct voltage, but reading not connected in the hardware connections status check) - When I turn the unit off, my amps stay on and just keep running. (It was originally hooked up to the antenna wire, which turned off all of the amps when I turned that off - but now that its hooked up correctly, I cannot turn off the amps!) - System "hisses" terribly. I want to hook up the back up camera to the front of my car (Corvette) - I constantly scrape the underneath of the nose... I just can't judge it correctly after 5 months! Anyway, I was wondering if there is anyway to have it go on even when the car is not in reverse... just as long as I touch that mode view on the Z3... thanks in advance (tried a search, got no results)

Actually, I did some more homework. Only one or two navigational views, no hard drive, 5.8" screen, .... what are the benefits of this again? lol

I can't decide. I don't really use the Hard Drive, so I don't care about that... but how much faster does the HDD work? Is it much smoother ? (as far as Navigation mainly) How much different is the "look" of the couple Nav Views that the F90BT DOES have? Any pics? Thanks

What is the best way to do this? Is there a downloadable file anywhere on here? Tried searching, didn't find anything. Do you have to change the hard drive?

My installer spoke to Pioneer and told them that the wire coming form the car was to weak to power the illumination wire? (2008 Z06) is this a known issue? The Pioneer rep recommended a separate switch t o turn the night mode on and off? this doesn't sound right does it? Bypass works now btw, thanks for all your help.

I have the same problem and the illimination wire is working correctly, but still no night mode! swapped it out today for a brand new HU thinking it may have been that, but still no luck? wtf?

Swapped out the Avic-Z2 today for a new one, did the by-pass... only thing that doesn't work STILL is the Auto-Night mode. Its always in day mode no matter what.??? Any suggestions?
