Tru but then u can never update your i pod but whatever I have an 80 gig so I was jus tellin people wat we have been doin at work to help em out.

The new Ipod classics have Noise through Charging On D3s. Noise can be solved by turnning the charge feature off on the d3.There is no other way..So dont exhaust your methods

Apple Composite AV Cable 50 bucks one usb car charger between 10 to 20 bucks I would run the new I pod cable where it is close to u because u will not be able to control it through the radio and this is jus to watch movies so u start it and leave it alone. And when your done switch back to pioneer i pod cable for music and for charging. OR JUS DONT BUY A CLASSIC .......

they make a power adater for about 30 dallors and u will need the 50 dallor rca to i pod jack.you will not be able to use controlls on head unit though

Had the problem at workk today lucky for u sucks for me though took me an hour to get it to work. Ok here goes hold the top button and bottoum button down until u see the i pod logo which means it has been turned off take about 20 sec.then delete paired devices on both sources radio and phone repair on done.

Dont worry about it then.I work at a store that does alot of volume in nav and its been a common problem with some but not all.I have had mine for about a year also and my d3 is fine I was jus giving u the heads up on it if it does tart to happen then u have an idea of what it is thats all.

No that doesnet matter thats not exaclty the best pace cause its known for gettin wet in some casrs but if its dry than it should be fine.Did u also delte all paried devices with the pioneer after u did the hard reset.If not try that.U can also try to have the head unit look for bt devices.

So basically if I want to have my steering wheel control I need to buy the PESWICAN and that will fit with my Metra harness. Yea but u can also buy a piece from metra thats the same thing as a piswican---I think its a ASWIPS.

yea if you have an i pod screw a cd u can always rip those to your i pod anyway and yea it will take awhile to get your unit back....I would try reset if not dont bother....

does your i phone have a discoverable mode that may need to be turned on to always.Did you also register it...

I know u saved money which is good but when it has a problem like lets say getting stuck in new yourk or not switching from your ipod to map or not goin out of map at all.U can bring it somewhere and say fix it.All in all good job though...

Dark Green wire at the the radio harness in the C2 connector should be your speed sense wire.If not use speed pulse generator from rostra or wherever u can find one.I can get the part number from work if u need it.

noise filters are used for noise goin through a dc power source Ground loop isolators are used to remove the DC circuit path from the audio shield ground circuit. css12 or css5 may work its a passive noise filter from pac.I mean there are ton of others I would jus tell them to try to make it go away. Mybe try to put the noise filter at the bose amp which is in the center console..

U dont need a kit like misfitt said u have some cutting to do.O and the gap your gonna have on the sides u can use abs and bondo it in or jus do a filler with abs if u havent used bondo before and then paint and all done..
