I have a 2005 Tundra with steering wheel control's installed with Pac swi-ps last year with the newest Bt firmware.Everything work's however I added the right side missing switch from the lexus Gx470 that includes the phone aneswer and phone disconnect button along with the voice button (see picture)and everything lights up on the new switch too.My question mainly is does the Avic z1 surport the phone aneswer and pick up from the pac? I called them yesterday and they informed me it did however a local radio shop is telling me different. I tend to think it will work because the pioneer remote h

Thanks Garrett it works now I sort of had a feeling it was a setting issue just wasn't sure. I added the pax steering wheel control a few mo's ago and the settings went back to factory Pioneer so it might have changed that. Erik

Correct 2 bands. Iphone4 has 3 white bands from the looks of it on the Oem apple designed headphones. Yeah, you need one with three bands. I'm surprised this thing actually worked for you in the past, that isn't normal. It worked from this method a wile back but it wasn't an iphone in fact the iphone first gen didn't work either. If i recall it was a mp3 type music player that worked and played but that's been a wile (2007). This is what I like to do right now either figure out how to add a cable that would charge the iphone4 yet retain pandora (aux) and play music.

something like this is hooked behind my z1 currently. It's worked before and now I don't seem to have any sound coming from the unit into this Input.

A wile back my friend added a radio shack cable that went into my Input from the rear of my Pioneer z1 (see pict). I recently purchased a Apple Iphone4 and trying to use pandora from the headphone jack and it doesn't appear to have any sound at all. I tried to add a couple of other sources and still no sound? Any ideal what im doing wrong. i checked the settings on the unit and have an open line on Aux. Do i need to purchase another cable to get this working? Thanks

I understand your request and that sounds fair. I guess that's why were here to learn the unit inside and Out. I Like my Pioneer Navi units but sometimes keeping up with the latest updates and Technology has some limitations. Thanks

let's not jump to conclusions and say I was appearing to be some know it all that's not the case here.Everybody is subject to there opinions and certain people can figure thing's out wile others can't that's the logic with anything.To me it's trill and error and generally speaking results will varie depending on who the person you talk with.Back to topic I hope you guy's figure your issues out why most of us are here .

I have both Thank you very much sir and i can post where I like Anyways I can see where this is going there are features that are not going to work just wait on Pioneer on updates in the future as all I can say.

The Avic app provided from Pioneer doesnt work on my z1 for Tundra but it works on the other ride.Pandora app link does work and it streams music just fine on my z1 but not on BT on the Z1 it works connected (AUX). Pandora does work for the iphone4 been using it a week now.

It should work just fine on your z110bt .I have the older z1HDD and mine works on my iphone4

Hey everybody Just picked up the new iphone4 and can't seem to figure out why it's not working with the aux jack I added on my z1. I went into the setting and tryed to figure out if the Aux was turned on and it is but it doesnt seem to provide any sound. I know it has worked on my friends MP3 before on that jack.
