I have the same problem in a N2. How do I ground rca's to radio chasis?

I had the same problem and fixed it today. Push menu button then settings then hardware info, then 3D calibration. Click on each item on left and press clear for each of them. This should fix it.

Just a quick question, I had A N2 in my 00 F250, and replaced it with a D3. I never had the VSS wire hooked up on N2, I installed D3 now, do I need to hook up VSS wire?????????

I have a N2 and my mute button just quit, also my source button does not work. Both quit and same time, they work with remote. Anyone seen this before? I'm also still having a overheat problem, on a warm day with truck closed up it sometimes takes 5-15 minutes for unit to power up. The blue lights flash but unit seems like its maybe too hot to start?????

My source button and mute button quit working? I detached face hoping maybe the contacts were dirty. Should I clean contacts with q-tip and alcohol? These functions work if I use the remote though.

Mine does the same thing, on a hot day blue lights on buttons flash and sometimes it takes up to 10 minutes for unit to turn on. I called Pioneer and they said $200 is there fee for fixing everything no matter what is wrong with it. I need to send off, summer is coming.

How do you reboot?

I installed a F700 and it worked great for a few weeks. Now when I start vehicle blue screen comes up and never takes me any further, then unit shuts down after 20 seconds. Anyone ever seen this? Please help

I have had this problem for about a year and a half. I live in Florida and on a hot day my units lights just flash and unit does not startup for sometimes 2-10 minutes. Its almost like its too hot to start??? Anyone heard or had this problem?

I bought a burned copy off ebay and mine is doing the same. I contacted place I bought disc from and there sending me out a new copy. Hopefully this fixes it. 2007 software disc was also burned and bought from ebay and it worked great. Good Luck!

Thats what I thought, I hooked orange on N2 to my blue illumination, but I will take it apart and look again. Thank you!

I have a N2, I have the orange wire of N2 hooked to my illumination wire on my LS. At night the unit will dim. I have a friend with a N1 at night his background on navigation is black, mine is white. Is there a way I can change this, I read the owners manual and cant find anything. The white background is still a little bright, black would be much better. Anyone heard of this??? THANK YOU!
