the uif is a compressed format... you'll need a DL dvd. I bought a pack of 10 memorex dvd+R DL at target for like 12 bucks.

Thank you allsounds for the great torrent. Downloaded it and used magiciso to convert and rip it. Tried to convert it with magiciso and then rip with nero and the disc wouldnt read... did it all with magiciso and it worked like a charm.

He's trying to get cheap internet access in a mobile format. He's also trying to run an ad hoc network in his car. Both of these things can be done, neither of them is worth the trouble to be done.

To answer the OP's original question: Yes, you can run an ad hoc network off of any connection. Your phone becomes your "ISP", your laptop becomes your router, and you can then network to anything in your car. Downsides to this: 1. It is against every TOS from EVERY cell provider to do this 2. Your downstream usage would explode and eventually your provider (at and t) would drop you for overuse. 3. Your hotspot would be more of a luke warm one. Edge sucks for downloading, chopping that download up between two or three devices connected to your "network" won't make it any better..
