  1. Also to add to waht Garrett said you will need to search the infiniti forum. I know theres a way to reset the service engine soon light by cycling the ignition. my co worker did it on my bosses G35 a few days ago. Not sure exactly what he did though.
  2. Use peripheral's GMAHL1 ACC Out VSS Illum reverse parking brake Steering Wheel Controls output to be used with PESWIPS Retains XM (if you have rear seat controls), Reverse sensors, onstar and door chimes. Works for amplified or non amplified vehicles.
  3. What ipod adapter are you using? if your not using the CD-IB100II then thats your issue. The high speed cable from the D3 will not work with the Z2/3. What vehicle is it installed in? YMM? what all did you have to remove / disconnect to get the factory radio out? Did you connect the GPS antenna? if not that is why its not updating also if you dont have good satellite reception then you need to relocate it. You can check thins in the harware screen.
  4. Speed Sense VIOLET/WHITE (AC) AT ECM MODULE BEHIND GLOVEBOX
  5. Look at the connection status screen when the vehicle moves the pulse should go up the fatser you go. if it doesnt then its not connected properly.
  6. Sounds like you have the wrong VSS wire. It updating every so often it the GPS pinging. The radio thinks your going slower than you actually are.
  7. ground the parking break wire. Thats what we did on my buddies AVN-62D
  8. You are using a module in your vehicle which my company makes (Peripheral Electronics) Should be the CHYAH05 or the P.A.C. equivelent. Either way you have it hooked up wire for wire and you matched them up properly. BUT when you have an amplified system like im sure you do you must hook the front outputs from the radio to the rears on our harness. Reason is..... the factory amplified system has two channel input. It then gets fed to the factory amp and the amp sends signal to all speakers. The two channel input just happens to line up with the rears of a stsyem thats not amplified. So
  9. i do know that there is an adapter that converts the eclipse backup camera port to RCA and power leads to allow to use another camers. What i dont know is if they make it opposite way. You may want to check. I'm in good with a local eclipse rep and i could find out for you what pins do what. let me know.
  10. Sounds like you plugged into the input of the black box. You nee to be connected to the out put. It outputs it to the radio. The input is for another source like XM.
  11. im using the PESWIPS with no problems. you can use the SWI-PS as well as it is the same exact piece.... differient sticker.
