  1. Is camera staying "on" in camera settings? Check there.
  2. Make sure you are using the correct reverse wire. I know its similar to the amp wire. That was my issue. Also check your cam settings.
  3. Using the USB whenever i use my steering wheel controls up and down the head unit is skipping to the next album folder rather than skipping to the next song. I'm hoping this is head unit where i just have to check a option. I cant figure it out, please help.
  4. Are you using any type of vehicle harness for the radio? Such as pac or maestro? Im seeing a few threads with people havin trouble with reverse cams. Im tryin to figure out if its the radio or the harness or the firmware.
  5. Did you plug your usb ext cable into the bottom port? The bottom port is dedicated for android. Top is for iphone.
  6. Not sure why this double posted. Got the "Something went wrong" error when i first tried posting.
  7. My unit is plauing some serious head hames with me. Now all of a sudden when i start my truck the rear kenwood cam comes on with no X to close. Then shows guidelines for a minute until i push a bunch of buttons on the front of the HU then the warning screen pops up. Its acting like the kenwood cam isnt compatible. Im using the Pioneer camera for the front cam. Anybody else using a kenwood cam with this HU?

  9. My 8200 came with one usb extension cable and one aux extension cable. I couldn't use the aux cable cuz the maestro rr requires you to plug their 3.5 mm jack into the aux port on back of hu. I bought a extension cable from best buy and it seems to be working.
  10. I know the bottom usb port on the back of the HU is for connecting to a android phone, can the top port (iphone port) be used with a usb stick?
  11. Im having the same problem. Im using the maestro rr. I have the Pioneer cam set as the front cam and the kenwood from my previous install as the backup cam. Everytime i goto settings camera view is set to off. Not sure if this is normal or if that setting does something else. Im gonna refer to the downloaded PDF of the owners manual and see if im doing something wrong. This is my first Pioneer head unit as i have always been a Kenwood guy. So far I am wickedly impressed with the Pioneer and cant believe how shitty the Kenwood dnx9990hd was compared to this 8200nex.
