heres 2 pics of the night vision i just took at 10:45pm or so. the close-up shows a lot of lines, you cant really see them just lookin at the screen though. and the grill on the left side of the picture, is about 10 ft away. oh, and theres no night switch. it adjusts by itself.

it didnt seem that hard to install, a friend of mine did most of the work, just took the lock out of my trunk, drilled the hole a little larger, wired it up, and screwed it on. the hardest part is gettin behind my d3, cuz i have to take my whole dash off to get back there.

haha, i think this is pretty hilarious, becuase i work for circuit city, and theres no secret theyre in trouble as a company, now this? i had my d3, amp subs speaks and alarm installed with no problems. but i have heard horror stories so i believe every word of it. guess it all depends which store you go to. kinda crappy you cant trust a big company like this.

i have an 04, i believe its the same. i had to break off the plastic piece behind the radio, thats bolted to the car, so it would be able to slide back another inch or two, but it worked. it was still a tight squeeze though.

and when i have some time im gonna do some wire management back there

yeah the mirror doesnt fall off, it just shakes and moves down to im looking at my backseats. i didnt buy the sub so i couldn turn the bass down and i drive an 04 impala ss, so im doin alright. the nail polish didnt do the trick after a song or two it shook right out of place, ill try some silicone in the near future. and here is what im workin with.

i juuuuuuust put some clear nail polish on it. let it fry for a minute and cranked it up... and the mirror didnt drop down! so i put a little more on, and im gonna let it dry for a while, and really test it out tomorrow, but so far so good!

i'll feel kinda gay buying nail polish, but ill give it a shot. i thought about putting glue on it, but i dont wanna make anything permanent, juuuust in case.

hey do you have a picture of your whole dash? i wanna see how it looks with the d3 in there. i have an 04 SS and mine barely fit. had to cut out a plastic piece behind the radio, and i had to put all my wires behind my a/c controls to make it fit.

this doesnt really have anything to do with my d3, but does anyone know a way to secure the rear view mirror so it doesnt fall down when the bass is hittin hard? i get confused when i look in my mirror, and see my back seats.

i have my zune hooked in the av inputs, it works fine. but i was wondering, i dont think it would work, but is there any chance you could cut the ipod connect cable, and attatch a zune cable to it? im tempted to try, but im an idiot, so who knows?

hey i just got my d3 a few days ago. i love it to death, wouldnt trade it for the world. but its time to get a backup cam. and im confused, i work at circuit city, not too much of a selection there, but i can get this one pretty cheap... http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Audiovox ... tDetail.do i was wondering if anyone has that, if so if they can show me how its mounted. or if you have any better ideas for a camera id like to know, i want something i can hide and drill a hole in my bumper. nothing on the plate, im scared itd get stolen.

i dont know whats goin on with the guys who this wont work for, i put about 8 pictures in a PICTURES folder, and burned it, it worked the first try. it looks so bad ass, thank you!
