I tried the steps mentioned on this thread for an AVH4200NEX as well and no response from the unit. Still see the password entry window after waiting a long time. Tried on an 8GB drive, 4 GB drive, both FAT32 formatted and both in the USB1 port. Any help would be appreciated!
