  1. Had my N2 flex cable upgaded from Pioneer over the last 2 weeks. Got it back today and they've flashed the Firmware resetting it back to the 50MT version. Unfortunately, I've got the 80MT but need an image to download or a copy of an 80MT East and West disc. Does anyone have one they can burn me? I can paypal for disc and shipping if needed. I helped a guy out a while back with his 80MT discs on here so I'm hoping someone out there can help me out. Thanks, Brian.
  2. you have to replace the screen is what I've heard from two guys that repair the units. That or else the LCD data cable has crapped out. Either way, it's about $100 on ebay. Mine did the same so I'm talking from experience. So, get used to controlling it folded in w/o the screen, or get it fixed. Either way, good luck.
  3. Was trying to use an existing XM antenna I have and add the connector to it to save from having to buy a $75 antenna from Pioneer direct. Trust me, I'd rather buy one, but not for $75. If you know o fsomeone selling one though, let me know. It's the only piece I have left for my entire AVIC setup.
  4. Does anyone know what the name is for the connector type used to connect the XM Radio antenna to the GEX-P10XMT unit? It's my understanding you can use an existing XM antenna and sauter a connector to the end to have it work with this unit. I went to Radio Shack this week, but they have no clue what connector type I am talking about. Thanks.
  5. i have been looking for the GEX-P10XMT XM antenna and this is the only component I don't have to finish my setup. Does anyone have a working one they would like to sell? Please let me know as soon as possible and how much you are looking for! Thanks!! brian.
  6. So did the N3 brain with your N2 head unit work? Did it give you the enhanced graphics and ipod/xm controls once you plugged it in, or did you have to update any type of firmware for the N2 head unit at all?
  7. So to upgrade the firmware of the N2 head unit to allow for the improved ipod and xm features, is there a firmware disc I need to create? I've searched but have not found the process for doing this. Rather than send it off I'd like to do it myself and be more hands on.
  8. Hey guys, Real quick question: If I understand this process correctly, if I have an N3 brain and an N2 head unit, using the CNDV-70MT disc, I should be able to update the firmware on the N2 to update to an N3 giving me the better iPod & XM capabilities correct? This should in turn update not only the firmware but the maps as well? Thanks, Brian.
