All of your pictures and others in this thread have been helpful My goal is to follow the method posted by @C4pt4inMatt @11thour posted the cutout that actually shows where the ribbon is beneath the internal SD slot.   3. I do agree that's it's not optimal to go in blind when cutting, but my dash removal is a few hour job, and I'm encouraged by the fact that at least 3 people in this thread have done the cuts without removing the headunit.
  4. Hello Everyone, Thank you for this helpful thread. Ive got a 3 year old 4400NEX that crashes A LOT with pixelating screens, continuous boot loops, and a lot of frustration. While it never actually shows the software error screen I do believe my issues is indicative of the failing SD card. I've already got the files ready to go on a new SD card. I'd like to carve out a new SD card slot notch without removing the unit from the dash. Any last tips so I dont accidentally hit a ribbon?
